Russian hoteliers received free migration accounting system

A free system of data transmission on migration accounting through the unified portal of public services (EPGU) has become available to the hoteliers, the Federation of restaurateurs and hoteliers of Russia (Frio) reports on its page on Facebook.

The migration accounting system was tested in Moscow and the region, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi on the basis of five hotels in each region. The program offers users to sign the agreement, to install the corresponding software and to forward the data on the migration and registration records via the Internet.

“This is really a breakthrough,” Vice-president of Frio Vadim Prasov, told the electronic newspaper Rata News. – however, there are still some drawbacks – for example, insufficient speed or complexity of data transmission through EPGU. However, the key bugs are almost all eliminated, the data on the guests safely get to the MIA.”

According to him, the next stage for the program will be its testing in all regions of Russia. Also on Facebook created a special group on migration and registration, where hoteliers can address their questions. Also, Frio launches training courses on working with the migration accounting system.

As the PCT reminds, in the summer of 2017, in connection with the World Cup 2018, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia ordered the establishment of a migration accounting system through the portal of State services to ensure maximum safety for tourists during the competitions. During the first testing of the system, it did not show good results, was slow and could not process data of more than 15 people checking into to the hotel.
