An official opening of New Year’s ice towns took place in Angarsk City district last weekend

Dance around the Christmas tree, songs, dances, games, Ded Moroz (Russian Santa Claus) and the snow maiden Snegurochka, prizes and gifts – all the main components of the upcoming holiday pleased Angarsk citizens on Saturday and Sunday, December 23 and 24. Mayor Sergey Petrov opened the main city Christmas tree.

At the opening of the ice town on the square in front of the cinema “Rodina,” Angarsk citizens on the eve of the holiday were warmly congratulated by the Chairman of the Duma of Angarsk urban district Alexander Gorodskoy.

The New Year festivities were also held in the park named after the 10th anniversary of Angarsk, in the park of the Club “Contemporary”, remote neighborhoods and countryside territories, where the countrymen were congratulated with the upcoming holiday by the deputies of the Duma of the Angara City district.

We recall, that this year the atmosphere of the winter fairy tale in the city is created by ice sculptures and light décor.
